hippily bunny

I am head over heels for this wonderful movie made by four-year-old Enya and her father. Here's the description by her father:

My 4 year old daughter began drawing a bunny she called "Hippily" on 3 X 5 cards over the past two weeks. She told me that she's doing it to make a 'movie.' Who am I to deny her that? So I added some copyright safe music (I learned my lesson from the Vertigo movie) and had her narrate it. Be sure to watch to the end to see the 'outtake.'

I found this over at YouTube after seeing it posted on Mahar Dry Goods' Blog.

A-DOR-able!!! What a great way to start a day...Nothing sweeter than a child's laughter..and that little voice. So cute.

I am still smiling!
That is absolutely darling, and her giggle made my day.

God bless that father for taking his little artists' work seriously! The world needs more parents like him!

Thanks for sharing, Amy - I've sent it on to all of my family & friends so they can start their day with a smile, too!

This made my morning! How totally wonderful, and only 4 years old. Talk about a prodigy!!! But then she couldn't have done it without such a great dad!

We adore Hippily Bunny. That voice...! Loopy plays the Hippily Bunny video every day now and loves sharing it with her friends... I think they should publish it into a children's book. Thank you for introducing it.

That is the cutest thing I've seen and heard in a long time. Tell Enya I look forward to seeing a hardback book from her someday.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments about Enya's movie. I'll share all of these with her when she's older. We'll be working on another movie soon!
